Cats

Everywhere I go, I carry a small blank notebook with me. When I have a free moment, I take the opportunity to sketch my ideas.

My siamese cat, Sputnik, is my inspiration for my cat paintings and line drawings. She is my constant companion when I am sitting at my desk using the computer or drawing.

Cute siamese cat! It just happens I carved one up tonight! Are siamese cats making a come back?

I love the idea of your cat companion. When I lived in Paris as a girl, I had a Siamese cat. When we returned to the states I gave her to my French girlfriend. It broke my heart....such things happen with military families. Five years later my father was stationed in France again and I did not tell her I was coming. I knocked on her door and there she was and she still had my siamese cat. :) I have a cat now who glues herself to me and is always with me too. Thanks for the invite to share my blog.:)

Ethan, You do great work!

Carol, I think "glue" is a good word, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Glad to know your Paris cat found a good home.

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
