Zori, Geta and Tatami Sandals

This shop is across the street from my apartment. I took the photo, looking down, from my balcony. You can see the shop owner (white socks) sitting on the right and the visitor on the left. The shop sells traditional Japanese sandals.

It's always nice to have choices. So here it is in black and white.

I very much like the perspective of this picture Juana, and the hint of color in the detail really pulls me in.

I must echo Annie ... the perspective really makes this an interesting photo! I like the texture on the roof as well.

Now, that's a lot of sandals! Love the angle of the shot and the roof does look pretty cool.

Love the angle and composition, but in my head I'm seeing it in black and white. I'm funny that way though.

Great photo! It makes me really miss Japan...I lived there for a year and would love to go back someday.

I like the sepia with a clever hint of red and yellow.
The roof is adding lots of character.
So is the bicycle and the sandals. Tranquility?

Luv the texture of the roof and the hints of color on the 1st photo. I also notice the bike off to the side. For some reason I'm drawn to it.

I really like the sepia. It has an elegant bronze monochrome which truly enhances this simple view.\

Thanks for the choice!

Thanks everyone for coming by:)

Felisol. I think if it were my holiday, and I were in California on a summer day with sandals and a bicycle, that would be tranquility.

Both shading versions are cool, but that sepia is very authentic looking! Great!
