SH and Eleanor Roosevelt

I just enjoyed several hours on youtube! I wanted to find some background information on the letters "s" and "h." Googling "sh" brought up Shallow Hal on youtube. After watching that movie I continued to surf the wonderland of youtube: first stop was Tony Robbins, then to Nelson Mandela , and onto Martin Luther King Jr. Somewhere along the way, I ran across an eerie but cool poetry video of Edna St. Vincent Millay. Wow, what an inspiring tour! I then remembered my Hero, Eleanor Roosevelt, and found her December 9, 1948 United Nations Address on the Adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Paris, France.

Oh yes... my "sh" photo is a cropped version of the letters from "sky shuttle." Those words were below the metallic cones in my previous photo. For more shadow shots, please visit Hey Harriet's blog. Have a great Sunday!

I like your sh...subtle, yet interesting, making the mind wonder at the rest of the word...what could it be...

Very interesting - It is amazing how our minds start in one place but end in a totally different one.

Blue-eyed Siamese Cat flies to Japan

Today was filled with my art and time with Sputnik. She was bathing herself which gave me the chance to catch a photo of her. I actually adopted Sputnik as a kitten in 1998 when I was living in Mexico. She made the long trip with me to Japan on July 25, 2004. It took me about 6 months to plan the logistics of bringing her from Mexico to Japan. Since I had to fly via the U.S. on Mexicana Airlines and Korean Airlines, that meant 4 countries and two airlines would need to approve her transport. There were many details to keep track of for each country and airline. After 6 months of stressful planning, 16 hours of two airline flights and layovers, She made it to Japan safely! Korean Air allowed her to fly with me as my carry-on luggage, which was a relief for me. No worrying about whether she was scared or left at the Los Angeles airport! I didn't give her any tranquilizer to sedate her. Yet, she was quiet the entire flight and went unnoticed by other passengers. I h
