Siamese Cat Shadows

It is not very long that I can resist photographing Sputnik and then showing her off to everyone!

Recently I moved to a smaller room for my art studio. I haven't bought any studio furnishings yet and am just using what came with our rental house. My desk is a small table. My art table is a high tiled shelf and nook that serves the unintended purpose well.

My studio has a window facing south which lights up the room well. Sputnik likes to bask in the sun in the late afternoon. I caught this photo of her as she was patiently waiting for me to put away the camera.

Great, sunny shadow and Sputnik does look a bit annoyed at your delaying her nap in the sun! Have a great weekend!

My, if looks could kill ... I wouldn't be turning my back on old Sputnik unless it was to go and get his supper!

I am so smitten with your Sputnik! You could post shadow shots of of your adorable kitty every week & I'd be happy :) Are you sure that's YOUR art studio? It looks as though Sputnik has claimed it as hers. It suits her too! I can even imagine her creating clever little works of art!

I am always happy to get a new studio space. I feel like it becomes a clean slate, before I fill it up with junk.

Oh, so glad to see you, Sputnik! :o) She looks so regal just sitting there, waiting. She has high diva quality. ;o) I love that "soul light" on the wall... beautiful! It is fun to hear about your new place, settling and arranging things. Have you been creating a lot of art since you got there, feeling inspired? Thank you so much for the lovely comment you left at my place--really touched by that. Happy Weekend, my friend ((HUGS))

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
