Old Car Shadows

Shadow Shot Sunday

red car

I saw this old car on one of my walks. I loved the red and the fact that the chains go around the entire car. Plus it is red for Valentine's day and has some shadows under the mirror and under the door. It looks like an interesting ride!

What a tale that picture could tell. I love it!

This old Pontiac is massive, with chrome, and heft we see in the old steel. The valentine's red is nice for today. However with those chains holding this beauty together...I'll try an alternate means of transit :>)

Ralph, you know your cars!
I was wondering what make this car was.

Mary and Marlene, I agree with there must be a lot of stories to tell.

Sad old car. I wonder where it has been in its lifetime. Very nice shot.

Wow! I wish I saw stuff like that on my walk!
Now that is an interesting car and I am sure it would give a good ride if running. Great picture. Happy SSS.

Ha! What a great find! It does look like an interesting ride but I'm wondering how far it would get you. It looks like it's nearing retirement. If not there already. It is very charming though! Happy weekend!

Whoa! An interesting ride indeed. Was there a padlock on the chains to hold them on?

what an interesting photo...I think a lot of people feel like this car, worn out and chained to a particular state of being.

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
