Random Thoughts: Art, Taxes, Visa, and The Biggest Loser

Life suddenly got busy!

March started out relaxing.  I went home to my Mom's for a 2 week vacation in early March.  I loved being home in California with my Mom and Sis.

Recently, I bought the DVD workout, "The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout."   The first two days of doing the 30 minute workout left me pretty sore, but by the forth day my muscles had caught up to speed.  Today my husband joined me in doing the workout.  That was a lot of fun.

We spent the last couple of days getting our taxes done.  Tomorrow, we'll go down to the Immigration office to apply for an FM-3 visa for Mexico.

ART

Last week was a good week for painting.  I have several ideas that I am working out.  I completed this male nude figure painting last Friday.  The patterns in the background are inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints.

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
