Delicate Siamese Shadows

sputnik on the window sill

I sneaked my camera in behind the curtain to get a photo of Sputnik on the window sill.   She was curious what foreign object was entering her space and moved up to check it out.

The delicate pattern from the window screen streams across her feline nose and below her cat eyes.

Hope you're having a good weekend.

The screen is not noticed by the kitty - unless she leaps toward the imaginary target of her attention. The tiny screen squares are so artistic, enhancing a beautiful cat...

What a wonderful catch...love the checkerboard nose. You sure don't see many Siamese cats these days, at least in my neck of the woods! He's a beauty, love the yawn shot!

Oh sweet Sputnik! You've done an amzing job at capturing those delicate criss-crossy shadows across kitty's adorable little face!

Re your comment on my blog: no I've not tried Kani Miso (actually I haven't heard of it!) but I'm not sure I'd like crab guts and brains. As interesting as it sounds :D

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
