Balcony Shadows

vase on balcony
Several weeks ago I rode Downtown which is the old part of town.  The buildings and architecture are beautiful.  I am also having fun with Gimp and learning this program, so pardon the editing.

Hop over to Hey Harriet for more shadow shots and to participate.

Much like in my posts, the neoclassical Greek detailing is ornate and exquisite. Full of style, the shadows are hard to beat. Buildings full of soul, unlike most modern structures!

Nice shot, Juana.

A great shadow shot, as the outline of the balcony is cast upon the building itself and you are able to see the wonderful details of the balcony.
Thanks for sharing!!

That's lovely! And the strip of gorgeous blue sky across the top sets it off perfectly! I've yet to master Gimp. I find it a bit tricky. You're rocking the program though! Hope you have a great week :)

Hi Juana, I just found your blog for the first time and thought I would say hello. I am traveling for the next year through Europe and feel your photo editing pains. We are already taking hundreds of photos (three weeks in) and it is really hard to learn the editing routine. I am hoping practice makes perfect! Thanks for sharing your photo with us :)

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
