You would have plenty of time to paint and dream..I can just see you now wedge between 2 huge crates with your paper and inks and camera in hand getting a shadow shot..
Hugs,

I love ships! I think it would be such an adventure to go on one of these container ships. One of my friends has done it, left a couple of years ago and I haven't heard from her since. I'm sure she will return one day with amazing tales - that's her style. I think if I had the choice though, I would probably choose something a littly more luxurious :)

would be a wonderful adventure.. but can you imagine cleaning such a vessel??
I love the peacefulness of the photo! It would definitely be an adventure if you aboard the ship. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I know someone who travelled from Europe to the States on one and said it was great fun and they ate really well. It wasn`t cheap but sure was an adventure. Go for it!
Okay, now you have got me hooked:) Something so calming about that photo.

A sea voyage... Oh, I love that idea! We took a weekend cruise trip to Denmark a few years back--it was great fun...loved being out in the middle of all that water. Good for creative inspiration too. Hope you get your container wish. ;o) I love the dreamy, shimmery quality of this photo, Juana ((HUGS))

Interesting!
I wouldn't be caught dead on a cruise ship, but this could be a good way to have the big boat experience!

from what some of you have said and from what I've read, as long as I know not to expect anything nice or romantic, I'll enjoy the adventure.

Poetic, you took the words right out of my mouth. I would have my projects for sure.
Sounds interesting...but I think I'd have to stick with a traditional cruise :)

And where would you go?? I know people have gone to Alaska on freighters that go along the coast but these are smaller affairs than these huge containers.

We used to see these containers off the shore when we lived in Victoria.

Japan, Mexico, you 2 are a pair of adventurers! Sounds like the next adventure is percolating

Zendot, I'm not sure where we'd go yet. I think I'd want to start out with a short trip to work out wrinkles in our plan.

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
