Amunet, pen and watercolor, sunday sketches

While waiting for my Japanese lunch to be served, I started doodling in my calendar book. These doodles influenced the hairstyles for my Amunet series of female portraits. I think I have more sketches and doodles in this calendar book than actual appointments.

Amunet II is lovely... Her hair is so beautiful! I would like hair like that... LOL! Like ocean waves... I like how the hints of watercolor add an extra dimension to this piece--it's somehow subtle, yet bold at the same time. Your calendar doodles inspire, Juana. Now I know what do do with those pages that don't have much going on... LOL... ;o) If there's not appointment, instant art date--I like that! Happy Week ((HUGS))
