Pine Cone shadows

pine cone

Another photo from our hike last weekend. A pine cone embraced by the grass and sporting triangular shadows.

 More shadows at HeyHarriet's blog.

This macro pine cone is stunning! I see a mountain range here. Perhaps with snowy sides. Such neat detail, I would never have guessed but for the large (in scale) blade of grass. So cool!

What a great shot J?

I am sorry to say, that I was too busy last week, reason I didn't come to visit you.

End of the month? As a banker, it is a nightmare for everyone. Hope it is quite this week, but I doubt it.

Enjoy the w/end.

Hugs,
/chie

Your photo puts me right into the heart of the pine cone!

EVERYWHERE SHADOWS

Shadows above and shadows below,
Shadows that blaze and shadows that glow;
Shadows outside and shadows indoors,
Shadows on trees and shadows on floors;
Everywhere shadows calling my name,
Everywhere shadows no one can tame.
