how i start my day

morning read and write
books and notes

Keeping the morning time open for reflection. The view of the woods tempts me to sit and stare out the window even if I'm too tired to read, make notes or do art journalling.

time to reflect

Most days, I pick up a pen or ink brush and jot down notes and just play with my art.

Visiting from 52 Photos Project -
First of all, WELCOME! I hope you enjoy the challenges! :)

Secondly, I love the pic! I wish I had time to reflect in the mornings, but I can't seem to drag myself out of bed in time to do so...wait, maybe I "reflect" while still in bed...???? :)

What a lovely way to start the day! I try to ease into a day with tea, yoga/meditation, and most days some writing too. I don't rushing... LOL! ;o) ((HUGS))
I haven't visited much, but you are always in my thoughts. Sending you love and Gods blessings for Easter. I may not write much, but will never forget your beautiful words when my husband died. Carolyn/rosebud

Married Shadows

My husband and I haven't had a T.V. for the last 15 years, maybe more, so we often go to see movies at the Cinema. The last couple of ones that I've enjoyed have been Transformers II and Terminator IV. Two more of my favorites are Slumdog Millionare and Milk. These latter two were well done movies from all angles (acting, script, cinematography). This is us after an afternoon at the movies and eating out. We had just come from Starbucks and were heading to the train station. For more shadow shots and to learn how to join this Meme, please visit Hey Harriet's blog .
