golden autumn

“I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house.” ― Nathaniel Hawthorne, The American Notebooks I usually go out in the afternoon for a bicycle ride or run, but last Thursday, the sunrise beckoned me out for a walk. On my way out of the neighborhood, I met this kitty cat. I don't know his name and haven't figured out which neighbor he resides with, but I see him everywhere. My house is along his territorial path, but he always disappears before I have a chance to get out the back door to visit with him. This time, I met him on a neighborhood trail. He was sitting quietly and allowed me to settle near him and take his picture. 52 photos, seasonal color / gold Great News! On October 13th I'll be posting on my http://GalleryJuana.com art blog about my feature in Seth Apter's latest art book.
