2014 favorites

December 2014 hotel bicycle tour What I loved about 2014 was that my husband and I had even more bicycle adventures than the year before. We even got a bicycle overnighter in for the winter by staying at a hotel. When I called the hotel to see if they had a place for us to park our bicycles outside, they advised us we could bring the bicycles in our room. night ferry We had a waterview suite with a fireplace and a bay window. It was so relaxing to watch the ferries and tug boats come and go. We'll definitely return to this hotel during the colder months when the campgrounds are closed. entering Moran State Park on Orcas island Our hardest bike tour for 2014 was to Orcas island . We got up at 4 a.m., had breakfast, packed and were on the road by 6 just as the sun was rising. Many miles and hours later, we got off the ferry onto Orcas island.
