I have returned to painting my favorite motif: the nude figure. Recently I have been doing small nude figure drawings for my ACEOs. What is an ACEO? ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". These cards have one rule: they must be 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card. They can be in portrait or landscape. I have several of these mini paintings in my Gallery Juana.etsy.com shop, and I continually add more.
I spent this morning browsing websites that feature ACEOs. I ran across several sites:
Acetsy
A popular Etsy BB thread on ACEOs
ACEOS on Etsy
Collage ACEOs on Flickr
Original (not print) ACEOs on Flickr
Watercolor ACEOs on Flickr
Figure (mature content) ACEOs on Flickr
artcardswanted : another venue to buy and sell these small works of art.
This link is unrelated to this topic, but I thought the digitial images were interesting.
