With rain forecasted, the only specific plan we set for that day was the "wait and see" plan. cobblestones Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home. ~ Matsuo Basho Yesterday, the weather forecasted snow beginning early in the morning. As soon as I woke up, I jumped out of bed to look out the window. No snow and it was dry and sunny most of the day. Although, I'm looking forward to the first snow, I was glad for the sunshine:) We missed our long hike over the weekend because of heavy rain, so I was glad to get our short hike in yesterday. The air is starting to bite now. How I've missed that feeling! My husband is barely visible in the second photo as he was further up the trail patiently waiting for me as I took this selfie. saratoga woods, december 2012 I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in. ~ John Muir joining roads I travel at 52 photos
