Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. George Eliot Autumn has a way of slowing time for me. Out on my bicycle today, the air definitely had a sharper bite. Looking down at the fields as I rode by, I noticed frost. The longer I rode, the warmer I got and soon the air was not biting but coaxing me to stay out and enjoy the sunny, Autumn day. I came back ready to continue working on my art. I feel fortunate that I can do art full-time and grateful to my Husband's hard work that makes it possible. For the photo above, I took the plexiglass that I use for my monoprinting and linocut printing. I put that in front of my camera lense. The plexiglass has scratches and acrylic paint residue which came through in the photo.
