People Shadows in Japan

Last Monday, we had lunch at a Thai restaurant and then watched a movie. Later, we hit a Japanese Soba restaurant for dinner. I enjoyed not having to cook at all. Granted I only cook five meals a week for us, so I can't complain. Let's just say it was nice to eat food that I don't usually eat at home.

As my husband and I were waiting for the train, I caught this shadow shot.

What great shadow shot. Isn't it funny how we are always catching shadows? And to think, I never thought about them before.
Happy SSS.

I really love this shot! We do find them in odd places sometimes. So often I hate myself for not having my camera with me. I'm glad you had yours for this one.

Bobbie and I always seem to be in agreement! This is a terrific shot! And like Bobbie, I hate myself for not having my camera with me wherever I am. Have a great day!

I love it and all the other shadow shots you have posted, makes you think about things you ordinarily wouldn't.

It's a great picture! I think shadow shots of people work really well - they don't realise they are being photographed, don't feel threatened and voila - a fabulous snapshot like this!

The man in the middle,.... was he looking at a cell phone?

Nothing can stop the observation of the obvious...now that we are all hooked on SSS...we are really viewing the reality of life, not just what we think we see in the moment

Have a yummy weekend you lucky girl!.

Hi everyone:) Thanks for stopping by.

Shannon, yes, the middle guy is on his phone.

Jacqui, this was my attempt at catching someone else shadow. Will have to do it again.

Rosebud, I like how looking for shadows encourages me to have a different perspective.

Love your candid shadow shot. Very natural. I wonder what people would think if you went up and asked them 'can I take your shadow?'
